A guide to protestors' chants
Oct 21, 2022
As the protests in Iran carry on, I thought it would be useful to translate the powerful chants used by the protestors in the streets. Below I've included some of the most common chants plus their original Persian and the transliteration so that non-Persian speakers can also get a sense of how they sound.
The English translations are loose in order to respect the rhyme and make more of an impact to English-speakers. I'll update this list as I translate more and as new chants arise.
